To promote the ARIADNA project, the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) published the article ‘Expanding Mobility Horizons: New project ARIADNA kicks-off’.

UITP is a key partner in ARIADNA; as a passionate champion of sustainable urban mobility, the association is internationally recognized for its work to advance the development of this critical policy agenda and has a great outreach all across the world. Before joining ARIADNA, UITP got involved in the Galileo 4 Mobility project, which to some extent can be seen as ARIADNA’s predecessor.

In the article, the focus lies on why timely and accurate geolocation is essential for public transport and how the ARIADNA project is trying to improve geolocation for urban mobility services.
