The ARIADNA project has had a couple of busy weeks! Attending the UITP Taxi and Ride-hailing Conference and the GSA’s EU Space Week, we are happy to say that ARIADNA has shared its mission and message with a broad audience during these industry-leading events.
On 2 December, ARIADNA participated in the session “Achieving Operational Excellence, Global Best Practices” at the UITP Taxi & Ride Hailing Conference. Alexandra Hösli from FACTUAL, who presented ARIADNA, focused in her talk how GALILEO and GNSS can advance urban mobility services, and how the ARIADNA project aims to promote the technology among urban mobility players. Hösli was in good company: she shared the stage with Joan Sáez Roldán from Àrea Metropolitana de Barcelona (Spain), Aram Sargsyan from Yandex Taxi (Russia) and Paul Soegianto from BlueBird Group (Indonesia).
The next week, on 10 December, the GSA organised the EU Space Week, and invited ARIADNA to speak at the session “EU Space Programme and the European Green Deal”. Presented by Karine Sbirrazzuoli, the discussion focused on the objectives and scope of the ARIADNA project. Furthermore, Sbirrazzuoli discussed the ARIADNA survey investigating how GNSS is leveraged all around the world in the public transport and urban mobility domains.
